Day 4 kicked off with Jonathan Ho, our third year lecturer, giving us the details to our new project. This project will last for 7 weeks and we will be doing similar project as our classmates in Singapore but with a different site and some adjustments due to the different culture here.We chose a relatively suitable site at the library here. It is actually a mezzanine level being used as a study area for the local students. The place now is just filled with normal tables and chairs. So, we will have to spice up this place a little with the considerations of their culture and habits. Therefore, we will have to analyze the local students. We can even ask our buddy about their study life here. It will give us lots of opportunity to understand the locals more and gain experience from there.We then began to take photos of the site and measuring the site. We measured the site as quietly as possible as the local students are using the space. After which, some of us began to cad the plan, section and elevation of the space out. It was a very packed and fulfilling day with project in our minds.
